According to Sina Technology, LG Display, the world's largest OLED panel supplier, said on October 4 that as part of the restructuring plan, the company has laid off nearly a quarter of its executives. LG Display said that by merging overlapping departments and simplifying the organizational structure, the company has reduced the number of executives above the team leader level by 25 percent . At the same time, LG also plans to further reduce the LCD liquid crystal panel business, thereby clearing the way for the promotion of OLED.
